LEADERSHIP

My name is Rachael, and I am a born and raised Texan with three amazing children and a pretty spectacular husband. We love nature and the outdoors and spend as much of our free time camping and hiking as possible. While homeschool was never initially my plan, God's plans are always better and he laid it on my heart when my first was ready for school. I have been homeschooling since my oldest went into kindergarten, and we have never looked back. Homeschooling has allowed us so much freedom in seeking God through our education and learning in to what we believe He wants for out children. I taught at a co-op for several years and i am so excited for this newest chapter with Permian Basin Classical.

Australian by birth, I moved to the States, became a trauma nurse, and married the love of my life.  Now years later, I have four beautiful children, whom I have homeschooled for the last eight years. After spending seven years in a Co-op, my friends and I felt drawn to create our own community. I am passionate about educating our future leaders in a way that is joyful, empowering, and out of the box. My joy is watching the children's eyes light up with the "Ah-ha" moments.

My name is Michelle, I am a wife and mom of three, who has spent the last seven years homeschooling. My original plan was to teach and send my kids to public school, but God had a different idea! We jumped into homeschooling when our eldest was five, and have not looked back. I spent four years as a director of a homeschooling group. I love seeing families come together in community, loving each other the way Jesus calls us, and pushing each other to be the best version of ourselves. I believe all homeschooling parents are capable of giving their children the best education possible, and love helping families find their way in the homeschooling world.
